Project Lead The Way (PLTW) Pathway to Engineering™ program offers a dynamic curriculum where students experience real-world hands-on learning. RV students interested in pursuing a career in engineering, biomechanics, aeronautics, or another applied math/science area are encouraged to participate in the PLTW program. Online application for incoming students and current RV 9th graders is open for 2026-2027 School Year beginning on January 5, 2026 and closes on March 6, 2026 at 5pm. VIP and Community Member Awards Nominations Open
The RV Retirement & Recognition Committee accepts nominations for both VIP and Community Member awards each school year. The VIP program honors an RV alumnus who has distinguished him/herself in their chosen field and/or has been recognized for their positive contributions locally, regionally, or nationally. We also express our appreciation to a Community Member who has given freely of his/her time and efforts on behalf of our RVRHS students. If you wish to nominate someone for the VIP or Community Member Award, please complete and submit the online form by clicking on the link following this news item. Nominations close on March 15th.

Junior Prom
The Junior Prom will take place on Friday, April 17th from 7:00pm-11:00pm at the Collingswood Ballroom. Tickets will be $80 and will be on sale in the Student Activities Office during tutorial and all lunches from Monday, March 2nd until Wednesday, March 4th. Students must have their student ID and a signed prom contract in order to purchase a ticket. Tickets are non-transferable and are first come first serve. Checks can be made payable to RVRHS. Students must be in good standing in order to attend. Please check GENESIS for any outstanding fines.

The Nicky Green Foundation is seeking T-shirt designs for the 14th Annual Nicky's Run 5K & Family Fun Walk scheduled for June 13th. Deadline for submission of designs is April 10th. Please see the attachment for details.

RV Learning Lounge is open to all students from 2:30pm-3:30pm Monday-Wednesday in the Media Center (1st Floor). Students are encouraged to attend for homework help, tutoring, assistance with study skills, or group work in any subject. See the attached flyer for details.

Families who may be eligible for free or reduced lunch, should download the form available on the School Lunch page or complete the online form available through the GENESIS Parent Portal.
