Congratulations to Basketball Head Coach Jay Flanagan - 13th Coach in South Jersey History to Reach 500 Career Victories Congratulations to Basketball Head Coach Jay Flanagan who became the 13th coach in South Jersey history to reach 500 career victories with the team's 60-40 win over Clearview 60-40 at the Jimmy V Showcase on December 21st. Montre Wilson led the way with a game-high 23 points for the Red Devils. The Red Devils close out 2024 with Christmas Showcase games against Timber Creek and Kingsway at Delsea on December 27 and 30. |

December Students of the Month Congratulations to the December Students-of-the-Month: 12th Grade–Ishael Colon, 11th Grade–Sara Colling, 10th Grade–Rashawn Mitchell, and 9th Grade–Noah Dupree. Students were honored at the Board of Education meeting following a breakfast with the principal and the nominating faculty and staff members. |

Congratulations to Vocal Music & Orchestra teacher, Mr. Grant Mech, the 2024-25 NJDOE Governor's Educator of the Year Awardee Congratulations to Vocal Music & Orchestra teacher, Mr. Grant Mech who was selected by the RVRHS community as the 2024-25 NJDOE Governor's Educator of the Year. Described as someone who "has a genuine passion for teaching and [one who] makes students feel valued no matter their talent, skill level, or background", Mr. Mech was further praised for "spreading RV PRIDE." Others noted that Mr. Mech "appreciates everyone's talents and challenges all of his students ... exemplifying the qualities of a skilled, dedicated, and engaging educator [who] inspires students to be the best versions of themselves." One student spoke for others saying, "his impact on my life has extended beyond the classroom. I walk out of his classroom everyday not only feeling better about myself, but also more compassionate and driven because of the confidence and teaching he has given me." |

Congratulations to Student Assistance Counselor & School Psychologist, Mrs. Leigh Cvetnich, the 2024-25 NJDOE Governor's Educational Services Professional of the Year Awardee Congratulations to Student Assistance Counselor & School Psychologist, Mrs. Leigh Cvetnich, selected by RVRHS as the 2024-25 NJDOE Governor's Educational Services Professional of the Year. Most deserving of the honor, colleagues described her as demonstrating, "an exceptional blend of skill, dedication, and engagement in her work with students facing significant barriers to learning. Whether addressing challenges related to mental health, attendance issues, or academic learning disabilities, Leigh approaches each case with both empathy and a clear, solution-oriented focus." Others praised her "leadership with the Gay-Straight Alliance [and her] support of the LGBTQ+ community [in addition to her work] with the IR&S Team, Burlington County/RVRHS Crisis Team, and RV School Safety Team providing support to our most vulnerable students". |

Red & White Night (RAWN) T-Shirt Contest The 2025 Red & White Night theme is DC (Red Team) vs. Marvel (White Team). Each year we ask students to submit their sketch for the RAWN t-shirt with the winner receiving a free t-shirt which is your ticket to RAWN in March 28, 2025. Your final sketch must be submitted to Mrs. Panter or Dr. Maniglia by no later than 8am on Friday, January 3rd along with the attached signed form. The requirements for the sketch are described on the form. Good luck! |

Student Registration In order to attend Rancocas Valley Regional High School, you must reside within one of our five sending districts of Eastampton, Hainesport, Lumberton, Mount Holly or Westampton. Beginning in the 2024-2025 school year, RVRHS will accept a limited number of students residing outside of the district on a tuition-basis.
