RV Ready for the Future Video: Selecting Our Principal
The principal of RVRHS is a leader within our community. When it was time to select a new principal last spring, students, staff, board members and administrators all had a voice in the process. The video goes behind the scenes of how RV found a principal who embodies the school’s values, understands its balance of tradition and innovation, and, most importantly, connects with its students.

Congratulations to our October Students of the Month who will be recognized at the BOE Meeting on October 27th: 12th Grade – Bryanna DeCillis, 11th Grade – Neona Dizon, 10th Grade – Judy McGuire, and 9th Grade – Kyro Carter.

RVRHS Wins Communications Awards
The New Jersey School Public Relations Association presented RVRHS with two 2026 Communications Awards. The district won an Award of Excellence for media coverage of RV PREP students’ participation in a program to grow and harvest mushrooms that are supplied to local restaurants. The story was featured in outlets including the Inquirer and Edible Jersey. The district also claimed an Award of Merit for its video highlighting RVRHS culture. The video was shared with candidates during last year’s superintendent search. These projects highlight the district’s unique programing, community relationships and commitment to effective communication.

GrandParents' Day Invitation
Our Annual Grandparents' Day will be held on November 24th from 8:15am-10:00am. Students and their grandparent(s) are cordially invited to attend a welcoming reception in the Old Auditorium followed by a free breakfast in the cafeteria. Grandparents are asked to arrive on campus no earlier than 8:15am so as not to interfere with busing and drop-off of students by parents. For safety & security reasons, all grandparents are required to check in upon arrival. Only grandparents who pre-register may attend the event. All guests must enter the main building by the rear sliding doors. Please complete the form (link at end of this news item) to register by November 16th.

Homecoming 2026
Homecoming Week Activities are October 19th – 24th. This year's theme is Seasons (Seniors – Summer, Juniors – Winter, Sophomores – Fall, Freshmen – Spring). Students show your class spirit by dressing for the themed spirit days:
Monday, October 19th – Fall into Homecoming! Wear flannels, sweaters, jerseys, boots, or fall colors etc…
Tuesday, October 20th – Spring into Homecoming Action! Wear floral prints, bright colors, pastels, or anything garden inspired, etc.
Wednesday, October 21st –Homecoming Summer Lovin! Wear Hawaiian shirts, tropical prints, flip flops, or summer colors.
Thursday, October 22nd – Homecoming Winter Wonderland! Wear pajamas or winter/holiday clothing
Friday, October 23rd – Season Finale! RV Pride Day (Red & White Day/Class T-Shirts).
Hallway decorating will take place on Wednesday, October 21st from 2:30 pm– 10:00pm in the main office hallway. Judging will be held on Thursday, October 22nd. The Homecoming Parade will be held on Friday, October 23rd at 7:00pm. (Participant lineup begins at 5:30 p.m. behind the PAC. Parade viewing on the front lawn and in the home bleachers. Gates open at 6:00 pm. Homecoming Day, Saturday, October 24th Football game is RVRHS vs. Burlington Township at 1:00 pm. The Dance is 7pm-10pm in the Gyms & Devil’s Plaza. Doors will close at 8pm. (RV ID required if received by then). Dance is semi-formal. Tickets are non-transferrable (you cannot give your ticket to someone else). No tickets will be available at the door.

On October 5th, the RVRHS Learning Lounge will officially open in the LMC. The RVRHS Learning Lounge will be open Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2:30PM-3:30PM. Peer Tutors have the opportunity to provide academic support to our students, while we support math instruction and ESL support during those days.

Pay Activity Fee Online
Rancocas Valley School District is pleased to offer online payments to our parents to pay for the Student Athletic/Activity Fee in addition to student lunch accounts beginning August 1st for the 2026-27 school year.

For your convenience, parents/guardians/caregivers may post payments online for student lunch accounts via https://schoolpaymentportal.com/. Families who may be eligible for free or reduced lunch, should download the form available on the School Lunch page or complete the online form available through the GENESIS Parent Portal.
